Patron Spends the Night at Regal Fox Run Movie Theater

They are comfortable seats.

A 911 call to Newington police early last Friday morning came from a man who had fallen asleep while watching a movie at the Regal Fox Run Stadium theaters.

Apparently the man fell asleep while watching a late movie, and by the time he woke up, the theater was closed and he couldn't get out.

He called the police at 4:38 am, and the police met him at the door to help him out.

I must admit the seats in the Regal complex are quite comfortable and easy to relax in. I could totally see myself falling asleep while sitting in them. I've slept in worse.

It does raise the question, though, of how thorough a job the ushers do in checking each theater before they close up for the night.
