Photos: Make Way for This Geese Family Just Trying to Cross I-93 in Downtown Boston
What a happy ending to what could have been an incredibly horrible and sad situation. Now that we know they're safe, the photos are absolutely adorable to look at. This couldn't have been an easy job, considering mom and dad geese were being enormously protective, according to the Massachusetts State Troopers keeping an eye on them.
This family of geese with mom, dad, and their tiny baby goslings were out and about for a leisurely Mother's Day weekend walk. But somehow, the family ended up in downtown Boston in the High Occupancy Vehicle lane, known as the HOV lane, for those of us that carpool.
While trying to dodge traffic on Interstate 93 southbound right near the JFK Library exit, the police showed up to offer assistance and keep them safe.
