Linebacker Chase Winovich who made his home in Portsmouth and appeared in a commercial encouraging the COVID-19 vaccination has been traded by the New England Patriots.

The NFL Network reported that Winovich is headed to the Cleveland Browns for linebacker Mack Wilson. The trade will be official Wednesday at 4 p.m., when the NFL's 2022 season officially starts.

Wino, who already changed his location to Cleveland on his Twitter page, had a message for Patriots fans.

"I am so grateful for my experience in New England. The love, spirit, and support have been absolutely unreal. This entire region will always hold the most special of places in my heart. The time is now for the next chapter of my journey," Winovich tweeted.

"Best Guest Ever"

Winovich professed his love for Portsmouth in a number of tweets in early 2021 and called it "randomly the coolest place in the world." He said he was looking for place to live and said he would love to build a mansion in New Hampshire.

Sununu responded with an offer to help move.

He also appeared in two commercials encouraging people to take the COVID-19 vaccine, including one with Sununu.

Winovich visited the Barnard School in South Hampton with his dog Zeus and was proclaimed the "best guest ever" on the school's Twitter account.

According to a video of his visit posted by WMUR, he offered a message that one can achieve a goal by putting their mind to it.

“No matter what you do in life, if you're confident and passionate in it, you got to pursue it to the best of your ability," Winovich told the students.
