Portsmouth Police Log: The Most Ridiculous Crimes of the Weekend

In this week's episode of the Portsmouth Police log's greatest hits we learn about a woman losing it in a bathroom of a pizza pub, and the ever popular shoe theft.

12:22 p.m.: Staff at restaurant on Market Street reported a female “seeming to be having some type of mental episode” in the downstairs bathroom in the pizza pub. Staff decided not to do anything, so officers left.

...but wait

12:36 p.m.: Staff from restaurant chased the officers out to the parking lot as they changed their minds. Female in bathroom left voluntarily.

I can see a bunch of dish washers, bus boys, and hostesses huddling up and deciding if they actually want to pursue this.

8:01 p.m.: Report taken for theft of a pair of shoes on Pleasant Street.
