President Trump is coming to Portsmouth for a rally on Saturday.

According to Boston.com, the rally will be held at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease. The campaign says precautions will be in place:

“There will be ample access to hand sanitizer and all attendees will be provided a face mask that they are strongly encouraged to wear.”

There is are a lot of differing opinions on the rally taking place in New Hampshire.  At the last rally in Tulsa, very few attendees work masks.  Public officials are still cautioning against large gatherings as the Coronavirus cases continue to increase.

Republican 1st District U.S. House candidate Matt Mowers tells WMUR:

"This trip shows how important winning this district and New Hampshire is to the president."

According to Boston Herald, everyone that attends the rally must sign something saying they can't sue if they contract coronavirus:

“In attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; Portsmouth International Airport at Pease; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers from any and all liability under any theory, whether in negligence or otherwise, for any illness or injury.”

I've talked to a few friends about the rally (both Republican and Democrat) and there is concern on both sides about holding a large gathering where precautions are not enforced.

Hopefully, everyone that attends will follow guidelines by wearing a mask and socially distancing as much as possible.

I, for one, will be as far away from Portsmouth as possible on Saturday!
