Puddle Dock Pond Rink at Strawbery Banke Opening in December [Photos]

With the cold weather, people are getting excited about the opening of Strawbery Banke's Puddle Dock Pond Rink in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The rink will be opening in December. There will be hockey, freestyle skating, lessons and more.

According to the Puddle Dock Rink website, "Puddle Dock Pond is named for the historic waterway that once flowed under what is now Strawbery Banke Museum...Puddle Dock Pond is a carefully designed ice skating rink with 12,500 square feet of professionally maintained ice surface surrounded by a post and rail fence...Puddle Dock Pond offers public skating (including several free sessions each week), pond hockey for children and adults, and skating lessons for all ages. Rental skates will be available. There will also be a skate sharpening service. The rink will operate from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm seven days a week."
