Put the AC on, NH, as Temperatures Could Feel Like 100 Degrees

Ya don't need to tell me, Mr. or Mrs. Meteorologist, it's HOT! I mean, I've had an expression for a long time - "It's hotter than the inside of Bob's butt."

Who is Bob? It's a long story, but trust me.... he had a hot butt.

According to a report from WMUR, the "feels-like" temperature could reach 100 in some parts of NH today, and the worst of it is going to be today between 1 and 4pm.

The worst, the report goes, will be in areas from Epping West in to Manchester, Nashua and Concord.

Even the National Weather Service in Gray highlighted just how hot it could get today with some areas maybe getting close to 100.

On our Facebook page, we asked how you stay cool? A lot of people just said, "AC."

When I was a kid and I know I'm going to sound old, we didn't have AC, so... we literally went outside and got the hose out. As you may know, if you have a hose connected to your house, the water coming out is not going to be warm bath water, it's COLD! But on a day like today, that's exactly what we need.

I remember taking that hose and chasing my Mother around the yard. At the time, she had an "updo" that could not get wet! If you don't know what that is, just picture yourself after you get out of the shower and you wrap a towel around your head. That's an updo. Just replace the towel with actual hair. I remember once, I did actually spray her down pretty good, she wasn't mad, she was laughing about the whole thing, but I remember the smell of AquaNet as I drowned that Bee-Hive hair! How I miss those days!
