The iconic Rochester Fair has been rebranded but people who attend the event over the course of the next two weekends will still have some of their fan favorites to look forward to.

Now named the Granite State Fair, the event held at 72 Lafayette Street in Rochester will feature a school bus derby on Saturday nights and a demolition derby on Sunday nights. Shows start at 7 p.m.

On Friday night, the original junk rock band Recycled Percussion will be playing at the grandstand. Tickets are $20 per person and premium boxes, which hold up to 12 people, cost $240.

There will be 28 featured rides, according to the fair's website.

The website also features a schedule of events for people to check out before going or while they are at the fair.

The buildings and midway open at 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays and Sundays the building and animal exhibits open at 10 a.m., while the midway opens at noon.

Fair admission tickets are $10 per person and parking tickets are $7 per car. Children eight and younger are admitted for free.
