Rob Ninkovich Retires, 11 Year Vet and Co-Captain Won Two Rings with The Pats

When Patriots Training Camp opened last Thursday, we here at The Shark Morning Show were concerned by the news that Pats' Linebacker Rob Ninkovich was a no show at the first day. Our speculation that he may be considering retirement was confirmed yesterday at Gillette Stadium.

How many soul crushing departures can I take in less than two days? The absolute rock of The Shark on-air staff, Fish, hits the road on Friday and now the defensive core of The Pats hangs up his cleats for the last time yesterday afternoon.

While I was still waking up this morning, I thought "WHOA! Nink retired. Fish is going to blog all about this today." Then it really sunk in and I thought, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
