Sally Struthers Leaving ‘Annie’ in Portsmouth Due To Broken Leg

Sally Struthers, a/k/a Gloria Bunker-Stivick from All in the Family, my favorite show probably ever, is leaving the cast of 'Annie' now on stage at The Music Hall, according to a story from Seacoastonline, due to a broken leg.  Sally fell on an ice-covered walkway and is now recovering from surgery.  Ruth Gottshall will replace her in the role of Miss Hannigan from now until the end of the Production.  You can get your tickets here.

Sally has performed with the players at the Ogunquit players for years now and, according to the report, she will hopefully return for the 2020 season.

I remember having the chance to meet her and I can't say enough about her.  She is everything that you want a celebrity to be.  Gracious, conversational, sooo nice!  But, let's face it, she could have barely uttered a word to me and I would have been star-struck!  I was SUCH an All in the Family groupie back in the day.
