Seal Rescue Draws A Crowd At York, Maine Beach
This cutie got stranded on on Saturday… but not for long.
Marine Mammals of Maine shared pictures on its Facebook page of a young harbor seal that was stranded on Long Sands Beach in York, Maine. The non-profit organization sent a team to rescue the weanling and take it back to its facility, according to our news partner, WMTW. But not before the seal drew a huge crowd of people, who probably applauded Marine Mammals' efforts.

The weanling appears to have some respiratory infections, as per WMTW, and is being treated with medication and nutrition.
