Shark Intern Josh’s Top 4 Summer Highlights
Just hours left to go on what has been a very busy Summer season for our Shark Intern Josh (Sazin). Here's the 'soon to be viral' countdown of his favorite moments.
- The Shark Morning Show
I spent most of my intern hours joining Jonathan & A-Train for the Shark Morning Show, where I was lucky enough to join in on different on-air conversations, as well as running the soundboard during parts of the show. This was great experience for my Music Technology study at Salem State, and was also always fun to hang out with Fish and everyone else at The Shark.
2. ’Rockin on the River’ Cruises
We were lucky enough to get four consecutive nights of perfect weather for the 2017 ‘Rockin’ on the River cruises. Perfect for setting sail on the Piscataqua aboard the M/V Thomas Laighton, along with great live entertainment from Barry Scott & the Lost 45s, Bad Penny, The Groove Cats & Rosie!
3. ‘Shark in the Park’ concert series
Again, the weather this Summer seemed to be consistently perfect for outdoor events. And for six straight Wednesdays through July and August, not a bad evening was had! Thanks to all the bands; Rosie, By Request, On-Tap Band, American Made, Red Sky Mary, Chippy & the Ya Ya’s for a Summer of awesome fun!
4. Free Soda!!
At the expense of having to fill the Bob Fuller Media Center’s Coca Cola machine, I was also allowed free soda for the entirety of the Summer. You can’t beat an iced cold Coke Zero on a hot July day! I was also in charge of cleaning the beverage closet, which I must say looked immaculate afterwards.
