What To Expect At Dover's Shark In The Park Concert Series

We have been doing this series for well over two decades now and it's always an exciting time of year when we announce the bands for Shark in the Park.

Shark in the Park is a free Community Event in downtown Dover at Henry Law Park that happens on Wednesday nights from 6-8pm from July 8 - August 5, 2026. People have been coming out for years to listen to great bands play, dance and have a great time with their friends, families and pets.

Record Number of Band Entries for 2026

We had a record number of band entries this year and for that, we are humbled. Thank you for your interest and love of the community.

Some fans of the bands emailed, called and sent messages to encourage us to let their favorite local band in the series. It was really wonderful that these talented musicians got so much love.

The Dates for Shark in the Park are all on Wednesdays from 6-8pm:

July 8
July 15
July 22
July 29
August 5

The Shark compiled all the entries and for the past few weeks, we have finally narrowed it down to these 5 bands, all from the Seacoast area, for the Summer of 2026:

July 8, MIddleman

This band has played Shark in the Park in the past and they always have loyal fans that show up and show their support for their favorite local band. They're wonderful musicians and even better humans.

July 15, Hush$$$

Hush$$$ brings you back in time when rock music ruled the world! Influenced by legends from the 70’s-90’s, you will be treated to incredible musicianship that has been performing to crowds for over 30 years.

July 22, Best Not Broken

From their website:

Their thoughtful and, at times amusing, lyrics match the upbeat nature of the instrumentation, creating a fresh musical odyssey that is infectiously fun. Their live performances showcase the band’s contagious energy and often evolve into interactive dance parties where the onstage antics compel fans to rock out and let loose.

July 29, Corduroy

From their website:

Corduroy will take you back to a simpler time, when lush, smooth sounds filled the airwaves. With a repertoire loosely based in the “Yacht Rock” genre, Corduroy covers a wide range of artists from the 60’s through today with the main focus on the 70’s.

August 5, Rosie

Rosie has been together for a very, very long time. All the members of the band are lifelong musicians. Their fans go wild for Al Silva's flaming sticks at the end of the Concert Series in August.

In addition to the wonderful bands at Shark in the Park, we will have concert ticket giveaways and special guests in the Shark tank to promote the series as well.
