Students Are Brewing Kiwiberry Beer At UNH
(Durham, NH) - The new brew combines the UNH kiwiberry research and breeding program and the brewing science program.
The new sour kiwiberry beer is called Artuga Sour, and will be available locally on tap.
Officials say that the kiwiberry is a good selection for beer because they offer a flavor that is delicate and blends well with the Berliner-Weisse sour style brew being made at UNH.
The UNH Brewing Science Lab is also working with an experiment station on a winter beer using pumpkins from the UNH Kingman Farm.
