Northern New England has two outstanding candidates for tonight's Miss USA pageant at 8pm on REELZ. And yes, the canceling of The Miss Stratham Fair Pageant has me in full-on pageant promotion mode.

Fish is on vacation so I got to pick the winner of The Big Game with none other than Miss NH USA Samantha Poirier (Yes, I have the greatest job on earth) I know that Fish will pick New England because Fish believes in happiness, sunshine and puppies. Therefore I went with the sadness and dark overcast skies of Seattle.

As The Shark's official pageant enthusiast and correspondent, my phone blew up Sunday afternoon with the news that Dover, NH native Samantha Poirier had been crowned Miss NH USA 2015.
