The End is Near: Dress Barn is Going Out of Business

You still have time to get in on some sales and discounts. But, after close 60 years in business, the end is near for all Dress Barn locations.

Dress Barn issued a statement on their website letting customers know that a decision has been made to close all stores.

'It has been our pleasure to serve you, making it all the more difficult to let you know that the decision has been made to begin winding down the Dressbarn business. This means that we will eventually be closing all of our stores.'

The statement goes on to say:
'We are proud of the important role that Dressbarn has played in the retail industry as a female-founded company offering affordable fashion for the working woman. From our first store, opened in Stamford, Connecticut in 1962, to where the Dressbarn brand has evolved to today, it has been an honor to serve as a fashion destination for so many generations of women.'

All Dressbarn stores as of now remain open. There is no exact date on when their store locations will close. For now, you can also continue to shop online and use your Dressbarn credit card for purchases.

There are 7 Dress Barn locations throughout New Hampshire, including, Epping, Manchester, Seabrook, North Conway, Nashua, Somersworth and Tilton.
