The Largest Video Arcade in the World Is in New Hampshire

Did you now the largest video arcade in the world is right here in NH at Weirs Beach?

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Funspot at Weirs Beach/Laconia is the largest arcade in the world.

A visit to their website shares it's rich history: opened in the 1950s, it originally featured an old-fashioned penny arcade and indoor mini golf, eventually expanding to include several buildings and themed areas and today includes the American Classic Arcade Museum telling the history of the billion dollar industry from its roots in the 1960s thru the 1990s.

On the arcade floor, visitors will find hundreds of games from classics like "Pac-Man" and "Space Invaders" to more obscure 80s wonders like "Defender" and "Mission Asteroid".

Certainly a fun escape from the heat of the beach boardwalk!
