For several weeks, reports of a 25 year old woman jogging pants-less through the streets and backyards of Mansfield, MA have had local residents very confused.

Sheet Happens, a radio prep service, has confirmed through The Mansfield Patch that she has been apprehended by the authorities.

Pantless Jogger Taken Into Custody:

The Mansfield Patch claims the Mansfield, Massachusetts police recently took a woman into custody after she was caught running pantsless through people's backyards.

The 25 year-old had on running shoes and a letterman jacket and gave no explanation for her jogging outfit. The woman's pants were around her ankles.

I have tried to find additional sources for this 'Stupid News' saga but have only managed to locate this report from a recent Mansfield Patch Police Log that only matched the suspect's age.

1:53 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Pratt Street, a 25-year-old from Mansfield was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and operating without an inspection sticker.

Is it possible that these moving violations were more troublesome from a legal standpoint than just the act of running pants-less in public? Therefore, the partial nudity and trespassing charges were not mentioned?

We here at The Shark's Stupid News Department will keep you updated whenever any mysterious new developments on The Mansfield Pants-less Jogger occur.
