The Tooth Fairy Is Paying Big Money To Kids In New England

Apparently the booming economy we keep hearing about isn't working for everyone. Including the Tooth Fairy.

According to Delta Dental, the price per tooth is down 43 cents this year. The average kid in the United States can expect to get $3.70 per tooth. However, things aren't so bad for kids here in New England. They can expect to get $3.75 a tooth.

Of course some parents say the Tooth Fairy is leaving much for per tooth for their kids. The Original Tooth Fairy Poll claims 2 in 5 parents say their child receives at least $5.00 or more per tooth.

Five bucks? Are you kidding me? At the risk of sounding like a crotchety old dude...I was lucky to get 50 cents a tooth when I was a kid. Heck, for $5.00 a tooth I might knock out my own teeth!
