There Will Be A Brush Fire Tomorrow On NH’s Blue Job Mountain

(Concord, NH) - It will be set by NH officials to help improve the wildlife habitat.

The NH Prescribed Fire Council will be made up of personnel from NH Fish & Game, NH Forest & Lands, New Boston Air Force Station, NH Army Guard, The White Mountain National Forest and The Nature Conservancy.

This prescribed fire is part of a larger plan to maintain important young forest and barrens habitat to benefit a variety of wildlife. It also helps maintain views of the surrounding landscape and the blueberry picking opportunities on the mountain.

The burn will take place tomorrow and smoke will be visible in the area.
