The weather is going to be BEAUTIFUL this week.  The weekend turns a little cooler, but it will still be sunny and a perfect time to go for a hike.

If I had to pick an exercise that I could do for the rest of my life, it would be hiking.  I just love it for a couple of reasons.

First, my Mother was unable to walk at the end of her life and apparently, she was too sick for the doctors to do anything about it, or so they told us.  SO, the fact that I can walk, as simple as that is, is really important to me and the memory of my Mother.  I think of her whenever I am on a hike.

Secondly, I find the most peace when I am out in Nature.  I love walking the trails of New Hampshire and Maine and seeing the beauty of Mother Nature.  Especially if it's been a difficult climb and at the summit there is a beautiful view.  It can be heaven on Earth.

Hiking can also help you reach that elusive 10,000 steps that we are all told we should be doing.  Sometimes, I think that's a bunch of bologna.  I mean, don't tell me, step counter thingy, that I've only walked 6,000 steps after my thighs are burning, you know what I'm sayin'?

So, here are the 10 most relaxing trails here in New Hampshire for you and your family to enjoy.  If you see some woman asking you to "please, can I please pat your dog," chances are, that's me.  See you on the trails!
