We all are confident that we are smart drivers, but there are mistakes we all make that can get us pulled over.  One?  Tinted windows. (Oh Oh I'm screwed)

According to Reader's Digest, sure, it’s great to look like a secret service agent but having that tint just a shade too dark is a good enough reason to get pulled over.

New Hampshire law doesn’t allow for window tint on front side windows and the tint on the rear windows must not be too dark.

Reader's Digest stated that the left-hand lane is not just for speed demons, and in some states, like Maine and Massachusetts, it's illegal unless you are passing.

So just driving the speed limit in the left lane is enough to get you a ticket.

Also, just like a pilot checks his plane, you should always give your car the once over before driving.

Unless you look, it’s hard to tell if you have a tail light out.  The reason the police take this so seriously is broken taillights are a major cause of accidents.

Stay in your lane! Even if you drift just a tad into the fog line, it’s enough to get you pulled over and can result in heavy fines.

Like Mark Twain said, “He who represents himself has a fool for a client.”
