The Fluffernutter is one of the quintessential New England sandwiches. Without a doubt, you've had at least one Fluffernutter for lunch at one time or another in your life (that's if you don't have a nut allergy)!

Well, today is 'National Fluffernutter Day.' So, what does that mean? Simple, it's an excuse to be a kid again and have a Fluffernutter for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner!

In my opinion, the best way to enjoy a true Fluffernutter sandwich is to break open a loaf of Pepperidge Farm bread, spread the Marshmallow Fluff on one piece of bread and then spread Skippy Peanut Butter on the second slice of bread. Then, press the two pieces of  together, grab a glass of ice cold milk, sit outside and look at the fall leaves and enjoy!

Of course, you're going to get sticky. No doubt about it, but that's half the fun of reliving the joy of eating a Fluffernutter. I guess if you want to be super-healthy about it, you could use reduce calorie bread and reduced-fat peanut butter and skim milk, but really...what's the fun in that?
