There's a viral prank where people are texting their mothers to ask for advice on how to cook a turkey in the microwave. Most of the moms' responses are astonishment, disappointment and even anger according to entertainment website Mashable. One mother even told her kid to never get married. It is technically possible to cook a full turkey in the microwave; however, most parents would probably consider it to be sacrilegious.

The true irony is I barely know how to use a microwave, let alone an actual oven. Someone who's name starts with an “M" never taught me how to cook, because she thought I was useless in the kitchen. After that, I never wanted to learn. Thank goodness for prepackaged foods and take-out.
