
Truck Crashes in North Hampton Woods, Dumps 70 Gallons of Fuel
The New Hampshire State Police have released a report about the July 4th crash of a freightliner in the woods at mile marker 7 of Route 95 North in North Hampton.
This incident occurred at around 1:30 in the morning.
Here's a direct quote from the NH State Police Report.
The vehicle left the travel portion of the roadway in the vicinity of mile marker 7 and came to a final rest after striking a series of trees along the eastern shoulder. The force of the impact caused one of the truck’s fuel tanks to rupture and spill approximately 70 gallons of fuel. The clean-up of which is being coordinated with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. - NH State Police
Douglas Boles , 59, of Derry, NH was the driver of the vehicle and was cited for being a fatigued operator. Luckily, he was uninjured.
