Virtual Auction for Dover School Has Luxurious And Hilarious Items

A night at Wentworth By The Sea or a Newport Mansion Getaway? How about a cooking lesson, a renowned parking spot or a 'life skill based' golf outing? Saturday's benefit auction for PCA has something for everyone!

Before we get into more details about the cool stuff that is available for your bid(s), here's a terrific explanation of where the funds raised will be going!

This event raises money for PCA's Variable Tuition program, which supports almost 50 percent of PCA families financially in their education choice.

 

Mike Runey, Head of School and co-host of Saturday’s auction, says, "Many families want to come to PCA, but cannot due to finances. Our approach is to come alongside families who have demonstrated need with Variable Tuition. Our Annual Auction is the primary way we raise funds to remove the financial obstacles to a PCA education."

Mike Runey is not only the Head of School, he also is the most important part of my favorite item up for bid!

If you check out Lot #50, you will see 'Help Mike Get An Eagle' which includes a golf lesson for you and another player with lunch after AND a session on the driving range and practice green.

That sounds like so much fun!

I'd also bid upon Lot #11 'Baking With Miss Marcia'. Apparently, Marcia Lund had her own bakery in Amesbury for years and has a wealth of great recipes from the Midwest.

Learning those recipes along with three other people sounds way better than binge watching The Food Network.
