Attention Walmart Customers: The Bedford, New Hampshire store will be closing for good in June.

A report from the Union Leader says Walmart officials announced the closure of the 17 Colby Court Walmart in Bedford, New Hampshire. Apparently, the store closing is due to the fact that Walmart could not agree on lease terms with the property owner, Grove Court Shopping Center, LLC.

Clearance sales could begin as early as next week. The store is eyeing a permanent closure date of June 14th, possibly earlier if the inventory is sold quickly.

The article states that Walmart will offer transfers for the 110 employees of the Bedford store. The transfers will be to other locations in the Granite State.

On Wednesday, the employees of the Bedford store were made aware of the imminent closure. The Colby Cout Walmart location has been in business since 1995. Walmart has over 25 locations in New Hampshire along with Sam's Club stores.
