Weed in New England; Huge Pot Bust for Smallest State

Whenever New England makes it on my Stupid News segment for The Shark Morning Show, I like to bring that story to our website for heavier traffic. This story about really heavy trafficking of a different kind in Rhode Island.

In Warwick, 44 year old Jian Zhi Li was pulled over for a routine traffic stop on Monday when a tell tale smell tipped the officer that something else might have been lurking in the minivan.

Sure enough, the officer discovered Marijuana. 317 POUNDS OF MARIJUANA! 

Whenever I read a story like this, it always reminds me of this hilarious Eugene Levy scene (below) in the 1986 movie Club Paradise.

Although this crime happened on Monday, the report wasn't released until yesterday, 4/20. One can't help wonder if the story was scheduled that way on purpose.
