Why Isn’t This Week ‘Gordon Lightfoot Week’?

Today is the 78th birthday of who I consider to be one of the most underrated music artists of the century, Canadian Folk Rock Singer Songwriter Gordon Lightfoot. There is another anniversary that happened November 10th that I feel should solidify this week as 'Gordon Lightfoot Week'.

The actual wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald happened on November 10th of 1975. Gordon Lightfoot's song about this tragedy nearly reached the top of the charts on it's one year anniversary.

If I was in charge of the world, each day between November 10th and Mr. Lightfoot's birthday should be spent celebrating his impressive catalog of great music!
