The Shark Started Out as a Classic Rock Station

Remember the video from about 10 years ago when the Patriots played the Broncos and apparently .... LOST to Payton Manning. This is from our YouTube page, the staff at the time went through the 5 stages of grief.

  • Stage 1:  Denial:  Danny Knowles was the Promotions guy
  • Stage 2:  Anger:  I think this is Fish, the old morning guy
  • Stage 3:  Bargaining:  Aaron told me this guy's name is Robert.  He promised to, "..... adopt a bunch of orphans and spoon feed a homeless man."
  • Stage 4: Depression:  This is our beloved Aaron Lapierre, a/k/a Train.  He did the afternoon shift here for a long time, then he went to mornings with Jonathan, then with me.  His throne of gold is still in the studio.. untouched by mere mortal hands.
  • Stage 5:  Jonathan was the Program Director and did Mornings here on the Shark.

Then there's this gem.  You may never hear Joan Jett's "I Love Rock and Roll" the same way again.

There have been a few changes to the Shark over the years, but one thing that has never changed is the Shark is your official New England Patriots station.  Season after season, we were there for all those incredible Superbowl wins and we'll be here for the exciting future action.
