This is the greatest thing ever. It actually surprised to me that it took anywhere from $2,000 to $4,000 for passengers to finally get up from their seats on a Boston to Rome flight, collect their belongings, score a few thousand and an overnight hotel stay, then turn around and jump on a flight to Rome from Logan International Airport the following day.

This video I ran across on OnlyinBos shows a passenger, michaela_romanosmith, recording one of the enthusiastic Delta flight attendants basically begging passengers to take the money and hotel stay on this oversold flight to Rome.  It's fun to watch as she slowly increases the price.  Don't worry, this isn't a super long video, but rather just a portion where you can hear passengers gasp as the price increases.

Have you ever been in this position, and would you have jumped up for the money?  I have been in this position several times for flights within the country and overseas, but have only received a few hundred and only accepted the money when flying domestically.  It would take a lot to get me off of an international flight, but I'd have a hard time turning down a few thousand.  At least I think I would.  I'm sure plenty of passengers were talking amongst themselves, wondering if they should jump up and go for it.

No word on whether passenger Michaela took advantage of this offer or not. However, she's enjoying her Italian vacation now, as I checked out her Instagram page and saw the beautiful photos she's posted.
