According to the U.S. District Court of New Hampshire, a jury scam has been taking place in the Granite State.

Apparently scammers are phoning potential victims and telling them that a warrant has been issued for their arrest for failing to report for jury duty. An annoncement then tells them to go to an address in Manchester to pay a "fine".

The U.S. District Court of New Hampshire wants you to know  "This is not how this court communicates with jurors."

Anyone who receives such a call is advised to report it to the U.S. Marshal's Office for the District of New Hampshire at (603) 225-1632.

Anyone with concerns about whether the call relates to their obligations as a potential juror in the courts, is urged to call Jury Administrator Cathy Dube at (603) 226-7791.
