It's nice to see that something good came out of the two feet of snow that Winter Storm Stella whacked us with last week. This week the NH Drought Map shows some SEVERE improvement!

droughtmonitor.unl.edu

According to the official US Drought Monitor, only 10 % of The Granite State is categorized as being in 'Severe Drought' when last week, before the storm, nearly 50% of the state was afflicted by this historic dry spell.

(The face that I drew on the left is merely a fictional illustration of relief and it should not be misconstrued that the state of NH is actually smiling.)
