The nipple has once again become public enemy number one.

Ever since the 'Free the Nipple' group announced a demonstration slated for Hampton Beach on Sunday, August 23rd, folks are scrambling to figure out what can be done to keep it from happening.

As of right now, there's nothing on the books to keep it from happening. In fact, under New Hampshire law, being topless is not qualified as lewdness or indecent exposure.

That is not stopping Hampton republican state Senator Nancy Stiles who, according to the Concord Monitor, has some concerns about the event.

“Hampton is a family beach,” said Stiles, a Hampton Republican. “This is offensive to many people.”

Senator Stiles went on to say she's heard from some constituents and that she might file legislation that would allow cities and towns to enforce their own nudity laws.

“I’m looking at what are the options out there to carefully balance individual rights and the public,” she said.

What year is this again? What possible reason is there to ban women from going topless when men are allowed? Why do people want to make women feel bad about exercising the same rights as men.

If you don't want to see the nipple, find another piece of Hampton Beach sand to camp out on. Or just don't look. Nobody is forcing you to.
