For the past few years, Wallethub has done a survey of the most and least educated cities in America.  Last year, Boston was at number 6, but this year, it drops to Number 7.

Here's partially how they compiled their findings:

WalletHub compared the 150 largest metropolitan statistical areas, or MSAs, across 11 key metrics. Our data set ranges from share of adults aged 25 and older with a bachelor’s degree or higher to quality of the public school system to gender education gap.

My hometown, Nashua, NH came in at Number 48.  Not bad considering it's a survey of 150 cities and towns across the country.  I got a great education in Nashua.  Even when I went from private middle school to public high school.  My teachers (nuns) were engaged and really loved their jobs.  Sure, I can think of some that didn't but every place had one or two bad seeds.  Go 603 and the Purple Panthers!

Boston should be at Number 1 every year from now on.  Harvard?  MIT?  Hellooooo?!!  Is this thing on?!!
