5 Dallas police officers are dead and 6 wounded in the attack.

Snipers opened fire on the officers during a protest over fatal shootings of black men in Louisiana and Minnesota.

Four of the officers killed were Dallas police officers, the other was a Dallas area Rapid Transit Officer.
