Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse In Newington Is Closed

This picture was taken yesterday afternoon. A quick visit to Bugaboo Creeks website shows that the Newington location has been scrubbed, and their Facebook page is no more.

Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse was one of the first restaurants located at what is now 'The Crossings at Fox Run'. It was built on the site that was home to Hoyt's Cinemas for years.

One of the early attractions was the talking/singing moose that was in the bar area. It used to entertain the kids, as well as the adults that might have had one too many.

I remember having good meals there, and the parking lot always seemed full. But it had been a while since I had stopped in, so perhaps the quality went down? I don't know.

I do know that the recently closed Pizzeria Uno in Dover seemed to do brisk business right up until the end. And now another chain restaurant has closed up.
