Cliff Divers Coming to Boston to Dive Off the Institute of Contemporary Art

They're BAAAAACK. Those incredible cliff divers performing the most incredible acrobatic flips as the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series World Tour returns to Boston on Saturday, June 8.

This will be the second stop on the tour, according to the website, as they arrive from diving in ancient Athens to the modern Seaport district off the Institute of Contemporary Art in downtown Boston.

This will be the sixth time Boston hosts the men with the Red Bull cliff divers tour, and the third time for the women. 2024 is the tour's third year in a row returning to Boston after a hiatus that had the Red Bull cliff diver's last in Boston in 2013.

Thousands show up to watch these athletes in their only United States stop competing against each other throughout the tour around the world.

Viewing is totally free on a first come basis, or you can buy VIP access. Gates open at noon with practice dives, the competition, and the award ceremony, according to the website, ending around 3 PM.

The divers perform these jaw-dropping dives as they free-fall from up to 90 feet, hitting the water in mere seconds after traveling more than 50 miles per hour.
