Evan Hennessey, chef and owner of Stages at One Washington in Dover is going to make his fourth appearance on Chopped on the Food Network, according to a report from newsbreak.com.  The competition begins this Sunday.

If you've not seen an episode of Chopped, here's how it works:  15 chefs from across the country will compete in a 'bracket' series to find out who will be the one to face off with Bobby Flay in the final episode.  The winner goes home with $50,000!!

We have some KICK ASS chefs here in New Hampshire.  Chef Bobby Marcotte of Tuckaway Tavern in Raymond and Hop & Grind in Durham, Chef George of Earth's Harvest in Dover and the Bridge Street Cafe in Manchester.  Let us not forget Michael Timothy of Surf in Portsmouth, MT's in Nashua and Buckley's in Merrimack.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention my own brother, the OG Yankee Chef, Chef John Sullivan who you may see from time to time creating his World Famous Dogs at Pat's World Famous on Hampton Beach!  Most recently, however, John was seen creating the biggest Whoopie Pie cake for two of his sisters who had July birthdays.  The cake was rumored to be the most delicious concoction this woman has ever had, even though the woman had been on a diet for the past couple weeks.  Thanks, John!

Go Evan!  The series starts this Sunday, August 9th at 9pm on the Food Network.  Evan will appear in Battle 2 which airs on August 16th at 9pm.
