Welp, I'm screwed.

Let me first state for the record that I do not condone texting and driving. It's unsafe, and worse, rude when someone is in the car with you.

That being said, do I text and drive? Sadly, yes.

It's a bad habit of mine I'm trying to break and getting a substantial fine for doing it would certainly make me think twice before I try and send a kissy face to my fiance while behind the wheel. Hit me where it hurts the most: the wallet!

Enter ComSonics, a Virginia based company working on a device that would pick up specific frequencies emitted by the sending of text messages. Sounds pretty cool, but leaves too many questions unanswered.

What if your snotty kid is in the backseat firing off 1,000 text messages to his buddy? As the driver, are you responsible for that?

Be honest, do you text and drive?
