How To Make A Secret Door To A Hideaway

Who among us hasn't wished for a secret door to a hidden room?

From my earliest days of reading books and watching cartoons that had hidden doors and passage ways, I've wanted one.

When my family moved to Durham, and my brother and I were finally going to have our own bedroom, I wasn't too pleased to find I was stuck with the smallest room.

Until I found the crawlspace that you could only access through my closet.

That became my inside fort. A place where I could get into my own world, beyond my bedroom. I reveled in it as a kid, and wish I had a secret room as an adult.
