First some history. The Brice-Cowell Musket, named after former Maine coach Fred Brice and former UNH coach William Cowell, was originally presented to the winner of this interstate rivalry in the late 1940s.

New Hampshire leads the series with a lifetime record of 53-43-8. In fact, the Wildcats have won 6 straight. Yet it's only been in the last 22 years that the Wildcats have pulled ahead, as The Black Bears led the series until 1993.

Both teams come into today's game with 6-4 records.

Kickoff is at 1pm in Orono.
