It’s The Last Week For The Yangtze Restaurant

The Somersworth restaurant plans to close on June 26th.

It looks as though the owners are retiring after 24 years in business.

A sign posted on the front door explains..

We want to say a heartfelt thank you for being with us for 24 years.  You have helped us create a community the is like family, and we will forever cherish your friendship and loyal patronage. You have given us wonderful memories that we can fondly think back on as we enjoy retirement!

Our final day of business will be Sunday June 26th.  Please come say goodbye.  We would love to see you and serve you one last time!

I've had my share of scorpion bowls and pu pu platters at the Yangtze over the years and actually remember most of my visits there.

It sounds like it's the owners decision to close, so good for them, bad for their faithful customers.
