Apparently thieves can get some good cash for a haul of Legos.

A Walmart in Epping was recently the target of an attempted Lego theft, according to investigators. A man tried to steal close to $900 worth of the fun blocks.

Authorities believe that not only are robbers working solo, but that there may be an organized ring of thieves targeting the Legos too.

Police apprehended Justin Laforge in Bedford. He's accused of trying to steal the blocks from the Epping Walmart.

"The accusation is that this gentleman was caught by loss prevention at Walmart with a cart full of Legos," Epping Capt. Jason Newman said."The reason for Legos is they're very expensive. They're very easy to sell, whether it be on eBay or Craigslist or pawn, and people are able to get quick cash from it."

This is not the first time the toy has been targeted. Legos were suspected of being some of the items stolen earlier this year from a Walmart on Loudon Road.
