Lost 45’s Spoiler: An All Star English Glam Anthem Spoiler

Barry Scott will continue to tour the world tonight with a three hour salute to England. Before the days of Google, this tune was nearly impossible to research. Now, it can be spoiled in a matter of seconds!

'All The Young Dudes' from Mott The Hoople.

David Bowie wrote this song for Mott The Hoople and I was only familiar with it from Bowie's rendition on his live at The Tower Philadephia double album from 1974.

The version from Mott The Hoople (above) was a Number 3 hit in England in 1972 and only topped out at #38 here in the States that year.

It is a perfect addition to tonight's 'Tour of England' which begins at 9pm TONIGHT only on 102-1 and 105-3 The Shark!
