Lost (In Space) 45’s Spoiler: Number One Hit from a Galaxy Far, Far Away

Barry Scott has an 'out of this world' episode of The Lost 45's tonight as he continues his exploration of record labels. This Spoiler is from a long time ago (1977) and in a galaxy (or a disco) far, far away.

I never knew that a disco version of The Star Wars theme song even existed, let alone topped the charts in the autumn of 1977.

This Number One Hit from Meco was on the very futuristic sounding 'Millennium' record label, not to be confused with the Falcon of the same name.

Barry will also feature the labels 20th Century, Island Records and Stiff Records tonight from 7-10pm only on 102-1 and 105-3 The Shark!
