Manchester Monarchs Face Wilkes-Barre/Scranton In The Eastern Conference Semifinals

The Monarchs defeated the Portland Pirates 5-3 in game 5 of the quarterfinals on Saturday, which means they advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals and will face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Unlike the first round, the semifinals are a best of 7 series. The Monarchs are the number 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, while the Penguins are the 4th seed. Manchester beat them twice, lost once and tied them during the regular season.

The Penguins are hot right now, they swept their first round opponent Syracuse, but I think the Monarchs are a better team and they take this series in 6 games. Here is the series schedule:
