New Hampshire Woman Featured on the Popular TV Series ‘Pawn Stars’

Have you ever seen the television series Pawn Stars? If you haven't seen it I'm sure you've heard of this long-running reality show. I'll admit that I'm not an avid watcher. However, I've seen it a bunch of times and it's always entertaining, that's for sure.

It airs on the History Channel and is filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the world-famous Gold & Silver pawn shop. This family-owned business opened in 1989, according to its website, and hit the airwaves as a reality show in 2009. It instantly became the History Channel's highest-rated show and the second most-watched reality show on television at that time (behind the infamous Jersey Shore), according to Wikipedia.

The Pawn Stars' producers actively seek out people to be on the series and assist the store. This time, a Rochester, New Hampshire, woman was found on Facebook at Madeline Jean Antiques & Restoration, LLC, and asked to be on the show.

How cool is that? Imagine just going about your day and getting a phone call because of your expertise. Well, Bethany Juke received the call as a furniture refinishing expert.

The show airs on Wednesday night from 8-10pm on a special episode of Pawn Stars Do America.

A producer from the show found me online through my social media and saw that I run a small business called Madeline Jean Antiques & Restoration and thought I would be a perfect fit for the show. I was commissioned to refinish an antique vanity.
