Like many, I remember Station 319 in Somersworth. It was always a good time with good food, and for sure held it's own as a destination bar with good food and their signature drink the 'Train Wreck'.

One of the most appealing parts of Station 319 was the ambience. I've always had an interest in the history of the rail road in America, so getting to hang out in a rail road station that was built in the late 1800's was fun in and of itself.

Well it's been a while since the old '319' closed, and a couple of restaurants have tried to make a go of it in that location. Here's hoping that Mr. Perron's new venture will be a success.

It's being labeled as a 'Gastro Pub' and I did have to look that up that term. I still don't have a handle on the term.

I do know that the establishment will feature fresh, pub-style food.

The Station will be a wonderful addition to newly revitalized Somersworth downtown. Locals need not have to leave the city limits to enjoy good food and drink.
