NH’s Moose Lottery Is Open

Hunters have until the end of May to enter.

Each applicant can enter once a year, according to New Hampshire's Fish and Game Department. More than 9,500 people entered the lottery last year for a crack at one of the 105 available permits.

It costs NH residents $15 to apply, and $25 for non-residents. The moose hunt runs nine days in October, from the 15th-23rd.
